My idea of the month is the global majority
I was introduced to this idea of the global majority by two Black creative people working with a heritage organisation. It’s one of those Copernicus ideas, when you realise you’re not at the centre of the universe, and that your worldview is absolutely not the only one. I felt a bit the same with Peter Frankopan’s exhilarating book The Silk Roads, which offers a history of the world that’s excitingly not Eurocentric.
